By Air:
San Diego International Airport at Lindbergh Field is located downtown and is about 15 minutes from the USD campus. Airport shuttles, taxis and car rentals can be found at all terminals. If you have a hotel reservation in San Diego, some hotels provide complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport. The University recommends Cloud 9 Shuttle where you can earn a discounted rate for mentioning you are traveling to USD.
By Public Transportation:
The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) offers buses, trolleys and coasters that provide convenient transportation throughout San Diego County. If you want to use the local bus service, you need to take Bus Route 44. Bus schedules differ, but service the stop by our entrance every 15 to 20 minutes. The San Diego Trolley runs every 15 minutes throughout most of the day and every 30 minutes in the evening. The stop nearest campus is the Old Town Transit Center.
